Sodalita
Sodalite
The formation of Sodalite, marked by a unique geological process, reflects the richness of a precious past, around 700 million years ago in Bahia. This blue gemstone arises from cooling magmas rich in sodium and aluminum, crystallizing under controlled geological conditions. The deep blue color is the result of the abundant sodalite mineral. The white veins indicate zeolites formed from the dissolution of primary minerals, while greenish gray shades are late crystallization of carbonate, mica and opaque minerals. It is a fascinating geodynamic testimony of what continues to enchant nowadays.

![Petrographic Analysis](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/853/1-analise-petrografica.png)
Petrographic Analysis
It consists of classifying the rock through the macroscopic and microscopic description of its characteristics, such as minerological composition, alteration, deformation and microcracking pattern.
![Apparently density](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/857/1-densidade-aparente.png)
Apparently density
Relationship between the mass and apparent volume of the rock. It provides the weight of the rock, being an important parameter for calculating loads in buildings.
![Apparent porosity](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/858/1-porosidade-aparente.png)
Apparent porosity
It is the relationship between the volume of voids and the total volume of the rock expressed as a percentage.
![Water absorption](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/859/1-absorcao-dagua.png)
Water absorption
It is the ability to assimilate or incorporate water into the rock, expressed as a percentage.
![Abrasion resistance](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/860/1-resistencia-a-abrasao.png)
Abrasion resistance
Determines the wear rate due to friction of particles with the surface of a rock plate.
![Bending resistance](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/861/1-resistencia-a-flexao.png)
Bending resistance
Simulates flexural efforts in rock pacas, with predetermined thickness, in this case simulating the effect of wind on plates fixed to facades with metal anchors.

![Stain resistance](http://decolores.dev.duoapp.com.br/media/863/1-resistencia-ao-manchamento.png)
Stain resistance
Stress that causes rock to rupture when subjected to compressive stress.
